シャンソンが流れ、花が踊る。

自然豊かな金沢の谷あいの、うつつ窯と呼ばれる工房。そこで夢うつつ、呼吸を感じる器が生まれます。描かれる様々なモチーフはどれも伸びやかで、優雅。

それを手にするとき、心が踊る。

Chansons play softly in the background, and flowers dance.

In a lush, nature-filled valley of Kanazawa lies a studio known as Utsutsu-gama. There, in a dreamlike state, handcrafted wares are born. The motifs painted on them are graceful, free spirited, and yet elegant.

When you hold a piece in your hands, your heart begins to dance.

器の胎には鉄分を多く含む赤土が使われており、その多孔質で柔らかい質感は肌に馴染みます。工房で調合される釉薬と、その瞬間の土、温度、作り手の呼吸が反応し合い、機械には出せないときめきが溢れ出す。

The clay used is a red earth rich in iron, giving it a porous and soft texture that feels gentle to touch. Glazes, specially blended in the studio, react with the clay, the temperature, and the artisan’s own breath － creating magic that machines simply cannot replicate.

女性から絶大な人気を誇る稲積佳谷さんの個展です。

This is a solo exhibition by the beloved artist Kakoku Inazumi, whose work enjoys immense popularity among women.
