真由美さんは、お洋服を一人で制作しています。デザインから始まり、パターンを作成し、生地を選び裁断し、ミシンと手で縫製していく。
ここまでの技術をほぼ独学で培ってきた真由美さん。黙々と着実に、良いものを作ることを一歩一歩。その懸命さと真面目さは、そのまま作品に現れています。
Mayumi creates her clothing entirely by herself. She begins with the design, drafts the patterns, selects and cuts the fabric, and then sews each piece by machine and hand.
Mayumi has cultivated her skills almost entirely through self-study. Step by step, she quietly and diligently works to create something truly beautiful. Her dedication and sincerity are reflected directly in her work.
真由美さんが作る服を身につけると、包まれるような不思議な感覚と、安心感と、背伸びすることなく自分らしく、そのままの美しい形の自然体でいられる。そして、気持ちも穏やかに優しくなれるような。
