澄んだ朝の光、太陽が燦々と輝く昼下がり、雨模様の日、夕暮れのオレンジ、夜を知らせる静かな月の光、そこに生まれるガラスの表情はどれも豊かで、どこかあたたかい。
飴玉のように可愛らしい風貌、一つと同じものがない世界の中には、儚さとノスタルジックが詰まっています。
Sparkling, shimmering. Colors are born alongside the light.
Glass reflects the changing light of day: the clarity of morning, the brilliance of a sunlit afternoon, the softness of a rainy day, the orange glow of dusk, and the quiet radiance of the moon as night falls. With a charming, candy drop like appearance, no two pieces are ever the same. Each holds a delicate sense of ephemerality and nostalgia.
神奈川県真鶴に工房を構える橋村野美知さん。幾重にも色を重ね、削ることによって作り出される模様が特徴的。ザラっとした表面の感触と、くすみ感のある色味はどこか懐かしさを感じさせる。そして真鶴の風を含み、彼女の作品は完成します。
We are pleased to present the work of Nomichi Hashimura, a glass artist based in Manazuru, Kanagawa. She builds up layers of color and carves into them to form delicate patterns. The textured surfaces and subdued tones carry a quiet sense of nostalgia with a lightness shaped by its coastal surroundings.
