国内外で多数の展覧会を開き、受賞を重ねている陶芸家、市岡泰さんの登場です。
宮城県教育大学大学院美術科、金沢卯辰山工芸工房陶芸工房を修了し、現在は緑豊かな宮城県利府町に工房を構えてらっしゃいます。
白化粧の器を中心に、大胆な文様と洗練されたフォルムが特徴の作品の数々。一見シンプルな世界は、その実彼にしか生み出せないものであり、素朴でありながら新鮮。
手に取ると、土の粗くぽってりとした肌触りは吸い込まれるように心地よく、確かな技術で作り上げられたものであることを強く感じずにはいられません。
We are delighted to introduce the ceramic artist Yasushi Ichioka, who has held numerous exhibitions both in Japan and abroad and has received many awards.
He completed graduate studies in Fine Arts at Miyagi University of Education and further trained at the Kanazawa Utatsuyama Kogei Kobo, a training institute for artists. He is now based in Rifu, Miyagi Prefecture, where he maintains his studio.
His works feature distinctive white slip, bold patterns, and refined forms. At first glance, his world appears simple, yet it is unmistakably his own－rustic yet fresh.
The rough, earthy textures feel comfortable in hand, while each piece quietly reveals the mastery of technique behind it.
